Terms of Service

These terms set the basic rules for using Spin the Wheel, including classroom use, public sharing, optional accounts, and AI-generated wheel content.

Last updated: August 31, 2026

Acceptance and intended use

By using Spin the Wheel, you agree to these Terms of Service. The service is a general-purpose decision and random-selection tool. It may be used by individuals, teachers, and organizations for appropriate activities such as classroom participation, games, planning, giveaways, and team selection.

Important: Do not use the service as the sole basis for decisions involving safety, employment, grades, discipline, medical care, legal rights, financial outcomes, emergency response, or any other high-impact matter.

Your content and responsibilities

You are responsible for the entries, names, images, titles, prompts, and other content you place in a wheel or share through the service. You must have the rights and permissions needed to use that content. Do not submit unlawful, infringing, harassing, discriminatory, deceptive, or sensitive personal information that you are not permitted to disclose.

If you are an educator or organization, you are responsible for your own student-data, consent, accessibility, and acceptable-use obligations. Use non-identifying labels when content could be made public through a short link or receipt.

Accounts and saved wheels

Most features work without an account. Optional cloud saving requires sign-in through the available authentication provider. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the account you use and for reviewing stored cloud wheels. You may delete cloud wheels through My Wheels.

Public links, receipts, and embeds

When you create a short link, proof receipt, or embed, you choose to make the relevant wheel or result available through a shareable URL. Anyone with that URL may be able to view the included content. Do not create a public link if the wheel contains information you do not want disclosed.

AI Wheel

AI Wheel turns a topic you provide into suggested wheel choices. It may produce incomplete, unsuitable, or inaccurate suggestions. Review generated content before using or sharing it, particularly in educational settings. Do not include sensitive personal information in an AI prompt.

Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Fairness records

The service can create server-anchored receipts that record a fairness commitment before a spin and reveal information after a result. These records help explain a completed spin, but they do not replace your responsibility to use the tool appropriately or comply with rules that apply to your event, school, or organization.

Privacy and questions

Your use of the service is also governed by the Privacy Policy. The site does not currently publish a dedicated legal or privacy email. Use the contact channel provided by the organization or school that directed you to this service for questions about your use of the tool.
